This collection contains wildflowers that are beneficial host plants for various native butterflies. Canada Tick Trefoil is a host plant for the Spring Azures and the Silver Spotted Skipper. Evening Primrose is a host plant for many moths, including the White-lined Sphynx moth. Little Blue Stem is the host plant for the Little Wood Satyr butterfly and the Common Ringlet and Wood Nymph. Common Milkweed is the host plant for the newly endangered species, the Monarch Butterfly. One seed bomb covers a square foot area.

These species evolved to coexist in nature and solely depend on their host plants to provide food and shelter.
